The San Diego County
Water Authority needed the finest team with the best
qualifications to meet the training requirements of their SCOOP (Small
Contractor Opportunity Program) . . . they chose the partnership of Power
Summit and ETI
(Employee Training Institute)
This natural partnership includes the vast construction experience and
skilled personnel from Power Summit and the professional marketing,
logistical, networking and administrative capabilities of ETI. Add to that, a
public water agency dedicated to providing the best possible training
opportunities to potential contracting entities, and a dynamic new
regional training effort was initiated - THE
TRAINING SOURCE - a Pipeline to Success Program
Under the umbrella of The Training Source, Power Summit
developed ten courses and presented them twice during the months of May
and June of 2004.
Additional classes are being added and the new schedule
for 2004-2005 should be posted by September. This is the absolute
best way we know of to receive quality, state of the art training on a
budget. Courses are offered for as little as $20.00 each and there
are ways of obtaining free coupons for some of the training.
